Emily Whitney

Practice Manager

Emily’s career began when she was just 18 years old and at that time had no idea what amazing opportunities the dental industry would soon offer her. Emily has had continuous training, made lifelong friends, travelled and enriched her life through helping others, including her own mum.

It’s now 12 years on and she has excelled from a junior, completing Certificates in Dental Assisting, Radiography and Frontline Management into her current position as the Practice Manager. She is very proud of her accomplishments and to be part of this forever evolving industry.

Life outside of dental is always full of friends and family. Emily loves to play golf with her finance Darren, enjoying the good things in life like food, the outdoors and travel and most importantly they spend as much time with their adorable dog Luna. Emily’s future aspirations with Darren are to be home owners and to have a beautiful wedding.

Maria

Dental Assistant

Maria joined the Dental Fresh team in October 2018 but her life before us has been full of adventure. Maria was born and raised in Brazil but when she turned 18 she decided to move to Italy for some life experience and found herself working as a dental assistant. Only working part time she soon realised it was the industry for her. Once committing to a full time role she then completed her study and became a certified dental assistant in-between her travels of Italy.

While amercing herself in the Italian culture she discovered a passion for their food and after 7 years of living, cooking and eating she has picked up a few tricks and family secrets along the way.

Maria returned home to Brazil for 5 years and even though she took up studies in accounting she felt unsettled, like something was missing so in January 2017 she decided her next step was to come to Australia to learn English.

Her intentions of an educational trip quickly changed when she met her partner Lee. Maria now lives with Lee and has come to call Australia home. Maria is currently taking ongoing English classes and continued her accounting studies, in her free time she likes to stay active with Lee as they both enjoy running and of course cooking.
